For those of us facing kidney disease, the journey can feel overwhelming. Dialysis is exhausting. The waiting list is long. The uncertainty is heavy. But even in the darkest moments, there is hope—because of people willing to light a candle by choosing to give.
Right now, I am searching for a living kidney donor. It’s not easy to ask for help, but I know that somewhere out there, someone has the power to change my life. A healthy person can live a full, active life with one kidney, and yet for me, receiving one would mean freedom—freedom from dialysis, more time with loved ones, and the chance to truly live again.
If you’ve ever considered organ donation, I’d love to share more about the process. Even if you can’t donate, simply sharing this post could help connect me with someone who can: www.giftworksuuh.com/breannan
One small act of kindness can be the light someone desperately needs. Will you help me find mine?
