Living with kidney disease is incredibly tough, but asking for help is even harder. We continue to share in the hope that someone will see Nick’s story and decide to step forward as his lifesaving donor. Every message, every share, and every word of encouragement reminds our family that we are not alone, and that means everything to us.
Right now, my husband Nick needs a living kidney donor to save his life. Waiting for a deceased donor could take years (3 to 5 in most cases). A living donor is his best hope, his second chance at a healthier future.
Nick is an amazing husband and father to our young daughter, and she loves him so much. It breaks my heart to see her talk about “daddy going to the doctor” as if it’s a normal part of life. Despite his struggles, Nick is incredibly hardworking. He continues to work full time and does everything he can to be there for our family. He pushes through exhaustion to make sure we feel supported, but the reality is he needs a kidney transplant to truly get back to the life he deserves.
If you’ve ever thought about organ donation, or if you’re open to learning more, please visit Nick’s website to learn more: https://giftworksuuh.com/nickolast/. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing Nick’s story could help us find the right person. Your support, whether through a message, a share, or a kind word, is something we truly cherish. Every little bit makes a difference.
Thank you for standing by our family. We are beyond grateful for your love and support during this time.
