Right now, I’m living with the reality of dialysis while hoping for a second chance — a transplant that could restore my health, allow me to return to work, and let me contribute back to my family, my community, and to others who need help.
Before this disease took over, I was known as a kind person who always cared for others. But living with this illness has made it hard to be who I truly am. The physical and emotional toll is heavy, not just on me, but on my wife and my loved ones.
My social circle is small — mostly my mom, aunt, and cousins, and my incredible wife. So, I’m reaching beyond them, asking for kindness from a wider world.
