Simon is a devoted husband and father of two young sons. He’s also an R&D engineer in the semiconductor industry. Simon’s chronic kidney disease, caused by IgA Nephropathy (IgAN), progressed to end-stage renal failure by early 2023, and now he is on peritoneal dialysis every night. While Simon continues to juggle work and family life, the toll of dialysis is making it harder for him to manage his day-to-day routine.
Simon has always been a fighter and believes that a kidney transplant is his best hope for a better future. He’s grateful for the possibility of living kidney donation and feels incredibly thankful for any donor willing to step forward.
