I was very happy to find out that I was on the transplant waiting list. With a new kidney, I could go back to spending more quality time with my loved ones, and work to give back to my community. But I have been on the waiting list since 2020, and I still haven’t gotten a kidney. Though it’s been a long battle with kidney disease, I’m still hopeful. That’s why I’m now sharing my story.
