Living with kidney disease has its challenges every day, and the hardest part? Asking for help. It’s not easy to reach out and say, “I need a donor to save my life.” But I’ve come to realize that I’m not alone in this. Waiting for a deceased donor transplant could take 5 years or more, and that’s time I simply don’t have. The sooner I find a living donor, the sooner I can start living a healthier life and be there for the people I love.
