Putting this out there isn’t easy, but sometimes the hardest asks are the ones that matter most.
Currently, Zach is one of over 100,000 people in the U.S. waiting for a lifesaving kidney transplant. It can take years to find a match, and while he waits, my worry is that he may only become more ill. But despite all the hurdles he’s faced, the one thing that remains unwavering is Zach’s hope for a better future. I’m hopeful, too.
Something fascinating I came across – our bodies are built with a kind of quiet resilience. If a person gives one of their kidneys, the other doesn’t just pick up the slack – it actually increases in size and capacity to handle the full workload. It’s a remarkable biological response, and a powerful reminder of how capable we are of both giving and adapting.
I’m sharing this because people are powerful too. A story told, a message shared—it can ripple out and land where it’s needed most. If you’ve ever thought about what it means to change someone’s life, this might be that chance. You can also help us simply by sharing this post.
