Hope Keeps Me Going Every Day

#hope – it’s what keeps me going every day as I fight polycystic kidney disease. I’ve been living with this illness since I was 24, and over the years, it has slowly taken its toll on my kidneys. In 2023, I had to begin dialysis, but I believe a living kidney donation is my best chance at a healthy future.

The idea of receiving a kidney from a living donor fills me with hope, not just for myself, but for everyone who is struggling with kidney disease. It represents the incredible generosity and compassion of another person who is willing to give the gift of life. This transplant could give me back the energy and health I’ve lost, and allow me to continue being there for my family and loved ones.

If you’re considering donating or just want to learn more, I invite you to visit my website and complete the short contact form. You’ll receive immediate guidance from a Living Donor Navigator—someone who has donated a kidney and can answer all your questions. https://giftworksuuh.com/veronicar/

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Every share, every conversation, and every person who steps forward brings me closer to hope.
