Living with Stage 4 Kidney Disease has been a long journey, starting when I was just 8 years old and an autoimmune disease attacked my kidneys. Over time, my kidney function has steadily declined, and now, a transplant is my best chance for a brighter future.
The uncertainty that comes with kidney disease affects not just me, but my family. My wife worries about what the future holds, and my 4-year-old daughter talks about “daddy going to the doctor” as if it’s a normal part of life. It’s tough to see her grow up with this uncertainty, but I keep pushing forward, trying to stay active and positive.
A living kidney donation would allow me to embrace #life fully again—to be present for my family, play with my daughter, and support my wife in ways I can’t right now.
If donating isn’t for you, sharing my story could still help me find a lifesaving donor. If you’re interested in learning more or have questions about the process, visit my website and complete the short contact form to speak with a Living Donor Navigator—someone who has donated a kidney in the past.
