Did you know?
A kidney from a living donor has a remarkable lifespan of 15-20 years on average, compared to 10-15 years for a kidney from a deceased donor. This incredible difference highlights the life-saving impact of living donation and the generosity of those who choose to donate.
I’m Alondra, and I’m currently searching for a living kidney donor. Every day, I hold onto hope that someone might be able to help extend my future. In 2002, I was fortunate to receive a life-saving kidney transplant. However, I’m now facing kidney failure once more. This challenging turn of events has been incredibly tough, and the prospect of starting over with a new transplant is daunting.
Though I am on the waitlist for a deceased donor kidney, the process can be long and uncertain, potentially taking years due to high demand and limited availability. I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea: if you could share my story, it might help me find a living kidney donor who could make a profound difference in my life.
If you feel compelled to consider becoming that donor, please visit my GiftWorks page and complete the contact form here: https://giftworksuuh.com/alondrav.
Thank you deeply for your support and compassion during this difficult time.

I was very happy to learn that I would be on the transplant waiting list. Getting a kidney transplant would mean that I wouldn’t feel tired all of the time and would allow me to partake in family trips with my loved ones. But being on the waitlist for a deceased kidney transplant doesn’t guarantee a quick transplant. Many of us, myself included, endure waits of five years or more. It’s a challenging journey battling kidney disease during this time, and so much can change while I wait. That’s why I’m sharing my story so openly. My hope is to touch someone’s heart who might consider becoming a living kidney donor. If you would like to help share my story, please share this post and spread the word about my website. Together, we can make a difference. Thank you for your support. https://giftworksuuh.com/alondrav
